Updated Knox

laundry laundry laundry!

I am swamped. But secretly, I kinda don't mind laundry. I don't know why I let it get this ridiculous, though. Really. And now its to the point where I have to finish all of it today and tomorrow because I have to pack all day Wednesday for our trip to Florida early Thursday morning. I kinda like packing, too; I just am so concerned that I'm going to forget something. I make lists of what I need, lists for what I need to get, lists for what I have in each bag, and lists for how many bags we have.
Kuyper is laying on the couch beside me and giggling. His little sounds are so sweet. And Knox is enjoying seeing Kuyper more alert these days. He gets excited whenever Kuyper is looking at him. Yesterday Kuyper was crying in the car and Knox told him, "Its ok, Little Buddy. Don't cry." How sweet.

the laundry is quietly murmuring a sweet song in the distance, and i am thankful for the peaceful break from the day. both boys are temporarily asleep and the sun is begining to go down, causing a big red portrait to glow against the living room wall.
dinner is already planned (grilled salmon on a bed of spinach and mixed greens with fresh louisiana strawberries and goat cheese). at the begining of the month i planned all of february's menus, instead of just a week at a time. tonight's festivities include a trip to snap to run and lift weights, and hopefully, finally getting around to watching fred claus, though a new movie did come in from netflix, so wesley may prefer to watch it instead. today has included suprizing wesley with breakfast, a trip to the grocery store - where i got groceries plus the last of my valentine's day gifts, assorted errands run, and one of several valentine's day cards made. i hear knox asking politely to get out of bed, so i will go and help him to encourage his polite-ness.
